Job Description

We are seeking an Asset and Corporate Finance First Year associate to join our Charlotte office in the fall of 2027 (2027 JD). Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and demonstrated interest in private equity, private credit, commercial lending, and mezzanine finance transactions. Candidates will work closely with the firm's Asset and Corporate Finance team representing both lenders and borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loans, and acquisition financings. Prior exposure to loan workouts and restructurings or other relevant experience is preferred but not required.

Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.



Base Compensation $225,000.00 / year

The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
