2026 Summer/Fall Intern - Regev Lab - Decoding Genetic CircuitryDepartment SummaryRegev lab is seeking a talented and highly motivated intern with a strong computational and analytical background in computational biology. This project aims to decode the genetic circuitry of human immune cells by analyzing high-dimensional perturbation datasets.
This internship position is located in
South San Francisco, on-site. The OpportunityBy applying rigorous statistical methods, the research focuses on interpreting and analyzing cell states to determine how genetic interventions drive phenotypic shifts. A key objective is to relate transcriptomic profiles to broader biological contexts, bridging the gap between gene expression and functional outcomes to map the rules governing immune cell behavior.
Program Highlights- Intensive 12-weeks minimum with option to extend, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
- Program start dates are in August/September.
- A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
- Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
- Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are Required Education: - Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).
- Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student).
