Sensors: Space and Air division in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Software Engineer I [Embedded / Radar] to be part of their product development team for the Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar group.What You Will Do:- Work on technical problems and provide innovative solutions, with guidance as needed.
- Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration
- Develop RT embedded SW, specifically pertaining to various radar modes and capabilities.
- Utilize investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
- Work with teams across multiple disciplines, internal and external
- Join program and customer meetings/reviews
- Support the team leads as needed regarding technical decision making, problem resolution.
- Help to ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality.
- Support of system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
- Work Location: Onsite at our El Segundo, CA Campus
- Must be able to obtain "special access programs" (SAP/SAR) for continuation of employment.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in embedded software development
- Development experience coding in C/C++/ADA or related languages/tools in radar-development software is required.
- Experience working on UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or other RTOS
- Experience working in an agile/scrum team hyper-collaborative team environment using typical agile oriented tool suite.
- Introductory Experience with design, code, integration, and test of software into a large software baseline and large system
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is mandatory to acquire and maintain Security clearances.
Qualifications We Prefer:- Current DoD Secret and Top Secret Clearance
- Experience developing Radar Software applications
- Direct experience with Agile methodologies.
- Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues.
- Experience with large complex systems such as airborne radars.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
