Full Job Description
Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Manager, Indirect Procurement based in Pittsburgh, PA. You will be a key member of the client services team, helping our clients manage their vendor portfolios in support of their brand strategy and executing RFPs for large-scale sourcing and procurement projects. This position will be generalist covering areas including, but not limited to, Marketing, Corporate Services, IT, and Facilities. You will work directly with our client stakeholders, up to the C-suite. This role reports to the Managing Director, Sourcing & Procurement.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating sourcing strategies on behalf of clients for indirect categories, including, but not limited to, HR, legal, finance, temp/contingent labor, software, hardware, brand/creative, agency, PR, digital, marketing technology, events, media, production, and marketing analytics & strategy.
  • Provide insight and subject matter expertise to clients and internal departments spanning the entire client relationship lifecycle.
  • Analyze client spend and procurement processes to identify opportunities to optimize efficiency, process compliance, quality, and cost.
  • Liaise, navigate, and leverage LogicSource's Center of Excellence (shared sourcing team) to drive effective sourcing strategies, optimize procurement processes, and ensure alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Manage and effectively deliver multiple projects on time and with the appropriate results.
  • Build, manage, and execute large-scale and multi-client RFPs through our sourcing software.
  • Process large amounts of client data to compile market baskets and vendor panels for RFPs.
  • Lead discovery sessions and review RFP documents and strategy directly with the client.
  • Negotiate the best pricing and service through the application of sourcing methodology.
  • Counsel internal and client stakeholders on value engineering to drive cost containment and savings.
  • Ensure strategies can be executed in compliance with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Foster vendor ecosystem by maintaining in-depth knowledge of and relationships with the national vendor marketplace in the marketing services categories.
  • Advise client teams on vendor performance, strategic alliances, and opportunities to leverage total spend under management.
  • Maintain a supplier management structure and process to vet, on-board, monitor, and audit suppliers.
  • Support onsite teams in resolving vendor issues as necessary.
  • Remain abreast of the latest innovations in marketing and marketing technology and continually feed information to those serving our clients.
  • Identify and share technical best practices across various client engagements.
  • Providing first-rate customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, internal and external.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years cross-functional or progressive experience in marketing and strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
  • Solid expertise across indirect categories from a sourcing and procurement perspective. Demonstrated success in managing vendors, negotiating, and managing high-value contracts.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Keen abilityto deliver on client expectations, influencing others or escalating as needed to do so.
  • Experience with e-sourcing software in a marketing environment.
  • Exposure to or experience working with or as part of corporate Marketing teams at all levels, from creative to the C-Suite, especially within a services industry (e.g., professional consulting, BPO, outsourcing).
  • Strong communication skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with vendors, internal, and client stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Entrepreneurial aptitude with a commitment to client service.
  • Detail-oriented with the keen ability to deliver on client expectations, influencing others or escalating as needed to do so.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond the defined scope of work.
  • Analytically adept with the ability to interpret complex data for informed decision-making and to assess results.

Travel: This position requires approximately 10% of travel.

$70,000-$155,000 USD
