The United States Chamber of Commerce is a business-oriented American lobbying group. It is not an agency of the United States government. Politically, the Chamber is generally considered to be a conservative organization. It lobbies for pro-business policies and opposes labor unions. The Chamber is the largest lobbying group in the U.S., spending more money than any other organization on lobbying efforts. The organization was founded in 1912 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
