The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a non-profit research and education organization with offices in Washington, D.C., Hong Kong, and London. It was founded in 1936 and has over 45,000 members worldwide. ULI's mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. The organization conducts research, provides education and training, and advocates for policies that promote sustainable land use and development.
