The University of the Cumberlands is a private, liberal arts university in Williamsburg, Kentucky. It was founded by Baptist ministers in 1888 as Cumberland College until it changed its name in 2005. The university offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 40 major fields of study. The university is affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention and has a strong Christian identity. The university has a diverse student body and offers a range of extracurricular activities, including athletics, music, and theater.
