The Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta, Georgia (AHA) is a public housing agency that provides affordable housing to low-income families in the city of Atlanta. The agency was established in 1937 and is governed by a board of commissioners appointed by the mayor of Atlanta. AHA operates over 10,000 units of public housing and administers over 6,000 vouchers for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.
