Hartwick College is a private liberal arts college in Oneonta, New York. The college was founded in 1797 and has been in continuous operation since then. It offers more than 35 majors and 30 minors, and has a student body of approximately 1,200 undergraduate students. The college is known for its strong programs in the sciences, particularly biology and environmental science, as well as its pre-professional programs in medicine, law, and education.
