The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement agency that serves Pinellas County, Florida. The agency is responsible for law enforcement services in the unincorporated areas of the county as well as contract cities, jail facilities, and courthouse security. The agency was founded in 1912 and has grown to become one of the largest sheriff's offices in the state of Florida. The current Sheriff is Bob Gualtieri.
