American Bridge Company is a civil engineering firm that specializes in building and renovating bridges and other large civil engineering projects. Founded in 1900, the company is headquartered in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The company has built many of the most famous bridges in the United States, including the Golden Gate Bridge, the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, and the Mackinac Bridge. American Bridge Company has also built many other large civil engineering projects, including the Hoover Dam and the World Trade Center. The company is a subsidiary of the engineering and construction conglomerate, Fluor Corporation.
