The Top 15 jobs highest-paying jobs in chemical engineering

Job seekers that find comfort in security should look no further than the sciences. Engineers, in particular, will always be in demand. While a recent survey by currently predicts a slower than average growth rate ( 2% from 2014 to 2024), the demand for chemical engineers can vary drastically based on product demand. The field continues to draw a high number of graduate students  — chemical engineering graduate school enrollment was up on average from 2007 to 2017, according to data from the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS). There has also been an increasing trend in women within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers, of which women now comprise 28%.
