The Top 15 highest-paying jobs in environmental engineering

It is a very good time to be an environmental engineer (except that means the environment isn’t in very good shape but we knew that.) According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of environmental engineers is expected to grow by 5% from 2018 to 2028.

So which companies are hiring for $100K  jobs in environmental engineering the most? Ladders put together a list of the 15 companies hiring the most $100K+ jobs currently in this exciting field using data from its continuously updated database of high-paying jobs.

 

1. Boeing: 506

Despite prolonged struggles with its 737 Max, Boeing reigns superior amongst the largest global aircraft manufacturers; it is the second-largest defense contractor in the world based on 2015 revenue and is the largest exporter in the United States by dollar value. Boeing stock is a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

2. CACI International: 430

The IT company just won a $71 million five-year contract order to provide sensor systems acquisition services to the Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier.

3. Lockheed Martin: 392

Lockheed Martin is an American global aerospace, defense, security and advanced technologies company with worldwide interests. Under its powerhouse CEO Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed has seen its stock surge more than 310%.

4. Booz Allen Hamilton: 385

This management consulting firm is located in lovely Tysons Corner, Virginia, in Greater Washington, D.C., but also has consulting jobs throughout the rest of the country and in strategic locations all over the world.

5. Jacobs Engineering: 368

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., is an international technical professional services firm. The company plans to create almost 2,500 jobs in UK.

6. Northrop Grumman: 359

The U.S. Air Force just awarded the company a $450 million aircrew training contract. 

7. Compass Group 288

Toronto restaurateur and entrepreneur Andreas Antoniou and Compass Group Canada announced a major partnership deal with Assembly Chef’s Hall at the end of November.

10. The Aerospace Corporation: 270

The Aerospace Corporation is a California nonprofit corporation that operates a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) headquartered in El Segundo, California.

11. IBM: 259

This tech company is one of the most innovative ones out there and has operations in over 170 countries.

12. Siemens: 252

Siemens AG is a German multinational company based in Munich and the largest industrial manufacturing company in the European continent.
