New York, New York (August 20, 2024) – New research from Ladders, the career site for jobs that pay $100,000 or more annually, revealed high paying hybrid job opportunities are making a comeback. In the first quarter of this year, just 1% percent of high paying jobs available were hybrid. In the second quarter, 2.9% percent of all high paying jobs were hybrid. “To see these opportunities claw back a full percent is significant. It looks like companies that were mostly onsite before are now adopting hybrid setups to attract and retain top talent. They are finding a sweet spot with hybrid work which many believe offers the flexibility of remote work while preserving the collaborative and leadership benefits of being in the office,” said John Mullinix, Director of Growth Marketing at Ladders who led the research.
For jobs paying $250,000 or more, what percentage of job listings in each quarter were in-person, remote, or hybrid?

Based on the increased demand for higher wages, Ladders initiated research to track jobs that pay $250,000 or more.
