Summary

The Account Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Data Center/Enterprise Hard Disk Drive (“HDD”) revenue growth and fostering strong client relationships for our organization. This role will be an individual contributor overseeing the development and expansion of our key accounts in the Data Center business segment. This strategic role requires a strong understanding of sales processes, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Identification of business opportunities utilizing HDD product/innovation roadmaps as provided.
Provide sales account management, business development activities to a designated segment of the market (program/project direction, reports, sales and support plans)
Build strong customer relationships throughout the customer organization, ODM/System integrators, distribution network or territory assignment.
Work across different functional groups within the customer including Procurement, various Business Units, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Marketing, Planning and Legal.
Provide best-in-class customer experience and interaction.
Facilitate application reviews of customer products or/and services in order to identify ‘key’ customer requirements and ensure alignment with product/innovation roadmap.
Provide Executive interaction opportunities between customers and Toshiba management teams.
Achieve Toshiba revenue targets for WW HDD business.
Lead Toshiba global sales team in all aspects of the HDD business.
Negotiate volume, pricing, and share business deals.
Develop good working relationships with all functional Toshiba groups including the BU, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Marketing, Planning and Legal.
Communicate the voice of the customer into the Toshiba organization, including business process alignment, product/roadmap alignment, engineering requirements, etc.
Provide all required metrics and reporting (weekly account status report, monthly reports, quarterly sales plans)

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in data center system component sales
HDD or related background and industry knowledge.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently and lead others.
Technical background a plus.
Public speaking ability. Creation of presentations, spreadsheets/data analysis.
Great interpersonal and communications skills.
Proven track record of success.
Some travel required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Salary Range: $114,300 - $188,600.

Average Compensation: $124,814
