WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Lead daily self-perform yard piping operations on water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Supervise crews installing underground and above-ground process piping, utility piping, and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules to maintain production goals.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field issues.
- Mentor and develop field crews while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Negotiate and purchase materials
- Maintain as-built documents
- Act as owner and architect/engineer contact
- Verify and provide inventory analysis
- Survey construction job site
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience
- 5+ years of underground utility, process piping, or heavy civil construction experience with leadership experience as a Foreman or Superintendent.
- Experience leading self-perform yard piping or underground utility crews.
- Water/wastewater treatment plant experience preferred.
- Ability to read construction drawings, utility layouts, and project schedules.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, with willingness to travel as needed.
