The Production Supervisor (SAM-4) provides senior-level oversight of aircraft maintenance operations in direct support of the 89th Airlift Wing’s executive airlift mission.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Andrews Support Division's and 89tl'Maintenance Group Commander'sfocal point for managing and coordinating assigned Boeingand Gulfstream aircraftlogistical support programs with appropriate Headquarters, Air MobilityCommand, Air Force Material Command, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)contractor offices for aircraft used to transport the Vice Presidentof the United States.
- Centralliaison between the division and designated Contractor Operated and Maintained BaseSupply (COMBS) organizations on Andrews AFB.
- Coordinates the requisition ofGovernment-furnished items through theappropriate supplysystem.
- Responsible formanaging and supporting applicable Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contracts.
- Synchronize mission requirements with Boeing and Gulfstream program managerlong and short-termmaintenance actionplansto satisfy contract requirements governed by Executive Airlift Performance Work StatementYankee White standards(Technical Exhibit 4).
- Attendslogisticsplanning meetings to develop strategies to plan for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Assuresintegratedlogisticsand maintenance plan effectively supports the fleet for these specific missions.
- Will closelymonitorthe requisition of Government-furnished items through theappropriate supplysystems.
- Overseesaircraftconfiguration andavailabilityaccording tocontractual standards.
- Will workwith customersand internalsectionstocoordinateworkloads and resources to meetdemand.
- Acts as the primary liaison between special mission YW assignedaircraft, production supervisors, assigned workers, and DOM tosynchronizeaircraftconfigurationneedsand deliverables.
- Nominalizesthe programmanpowerinputsandexpenditurestobalancefinancialrequirements.
- Willensureaircraftinteriors aremeticulously cleaned,blemish-free,sanitized,and fully functional.
- Guarantees the integrity of allYWprogram data, including maintenance andaircraftstatus informationenteredintoaircraftforms, Integrated Maintenance Data System, and MOC status tracking.
- Prepares and delivers periodic and ad-hoc reports on program statusesand will provide leadership with any research, integration, and response to official reports and inquiries.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Mustpossessexceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a flightline driver’s license.
- Must be able to manage and integrate a diversity of programsunder pressure and effectively coordinate complex issues to resolveaircraftmaintenancediscrepancies in a time-sensitive environment.
- Will beproficient inMicrosoft Suiteprograms.
- Capable of initiating, developing, andmaintaininglogistical support documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Airframe and Powerplant certificate and minimum of5years ofexperienceon 89thAirliftWing or similar-typeaircraft.
- Thorough understanding ofaircraftrequirements, including Analysis and Integration and Integrated Process Team concepts.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The base salary range for this position is $122K to $130K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
