Job DescriptionResponsible for managing 1-2 projects at a time (including GC and larger-scale restoration & repair projects, etc.) to ensure on-time delivery within the agreed upon budget.
• Manage subcontractors on scheduling, quality control, understanding and resolving issues and verifying work is completed in accordance with project budget and specifications.
• Review all assigned projects to schedule deliverables, track costs and report on.
• Meet contractual conditions and performance.
• Manage key metrics and report on as required.
• Work collaboratively with customers, sales reps, roofing contractors, superintendents, and roofing technicians to ensure delivery on time and within budget as well as select and manage all sub-contractors.
• Uphold high standards for health and safety management in compliance with all codes and laws, and Tremco Policy
Qualifications- This position requires individuals to have an in-depth understanding of construction management, along with a proven track record in running and supervising commercial and industrial roofing construction projects.
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of commercial roofing or building envelope experience in the role of a GC, Roofing Superintendent or Project Manager is required.
- Forklift certification and experience, as well as fall protection, a general awareness of environmental issues is a strong asset.
- Must be competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Superior written, oral and digital communication skills needed.
- Experience with SAP, Access, Microsoft Projects, Visual Cadd, AutoCadd and Excel is a strong asset.
- Must be willing to travel within region up to 50% of the time
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and have access to a vehicle.
- This is a new position and the pay range is $75,000.00 - $115,000.00. Final compensation is dependent upon individual's knowledge, skills, experience, internal equity and market data alignment.
