Job Summary:The WS02 Engineer will work in collaboration with Product and QA teams to design, develop, and implement robust API solutions using Java and Spring Boot. This role involves active participation in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architecture discussions. The developer will work closely with the existing Tech Lead and be capable of stepping into that role as needed.
Job Responsibilities:- Review and recommend design solutions aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with engineering team on code reviews and best practices.
- Support and, when necessary, step in for the existing Tech Lead.
- Engage proactively in Agile sprint ceremonies and provide technical input.
- Work cross-functionally with Product and QA teams to achieve sprint deliverables.
- Translate business stories into technical specifications ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
- Ensure on-time story delivery with complete unit testing before QA handoff.
- Partner with QA staff on test automation implementation.
Required Skills:- 5+ years of API design and development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Proficient with GitHub, Jenkins, and Groovy scripting.
- Familiarity with XSD, WSDL, and JSON Schema.
- Experience with API Management and Integration frameworks such as WSO2 (preferred but not required).
