About this Opportunity Provides technical maintenance service to the City Wastewater Treatment Facility, Lift Pump Stations and Flood Pump Stations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities- Develops and coordinates service contracts and maintenance contractors
- Reviews equipment failures and recommends repair procedures and future preventive actions
- Supervises the work of assigned personnel, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations
- Monitors completion of job assignments to ensure compliance with quality standards and instructions and revises instructions and time frames as necessary
- Prepares bids and bid specifications and coordinates contract maintenance activities
- Purchases or orders supplies necessary for inventory, shutdowns, and overhauls
- Conducts project design and monitors for completeness of specification requirements
- Develops standardized equipment, maintenance, inventory, repair, and inspection forms to ensure systematic repair and inspection of equipment and facilities
- Coordinates and facilitates maintenance services with WPC staff
- Performs related work as required
Required Education and Experience- Associate's degree in environmental sciences, business administration, or a closely related field and 1-3 years of experience in the repair or maintenance of wastewater equipment;
- OR
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience (i.e., one year of relevant experience may substitute for one year of education)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population
Required Licenses or Certifications- Valid U.S. Driver's License
Work Schedule:Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm
