Job DescriptionRole Purpose
The purpose of this role to analyse client technology environments, create low-level design inputs, and integrate technology components to existing client environment for a specific technology.
͏Area of Responsibility
Requirement Analysis-Participate in client discussions to gather information regarding platform constraints, technology stacks, and performance expectations of a specific technology.
Designing-Create low-level design inputs for assigned technology and provides technical viewpoints for specific components as per the standards and best practices.
Integration assessment and support-Assess and evaluate client technology environment to support integration of technology components and ensure system-level technical compatibility.
Troubleshooting-Support testing activities for technology components and work with developers and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot errors during deployment phases.
͏͏͏Lead the Quality Engineering workstream by driving strategy, delivery excellence, technical leadership, and business growth across multiple testing capabilities. The role is responsible for leading large-scale testing engagements, enabling capability development across Functional Testing, Test Automation, AI-enabled Quality Engineering, and Non-Functional Testing, while partnering with clients to improve quality outcomes and identify new opportunities.
Area of ResponsibilityQuality Engineering Leadership : Lead and govern enterprise Quality Engineering engagements across Functional Testing, Test Automation, AI-enabled Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), and Non-Functional Testing. Establish delivery standards, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement across all testing tracks.
Client Engagement & Solutioning : Partner with client stakeholders to understand business objectives, shape Quality Engineering strategies, identify improvement opportunities, and develop solution proposals that enhance delivery quality while creating avenues for business growth.
Technical Leadership : Provide technical direction across testing disciplines, support teams in resolving complex delivery challenges, review solution approaches, and ensure adoption of modern testing methodologies, tools, automation frameworks, AI-enabled testing practices, and performance engineering.
Testing Governance : Oversee planning and execution of multiple testing engagements, monitor delivery health, quality, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans, and provide regular progress updates to internal and client stakeholders.
People & Capability : Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing Quality Engineering teams through coaching, reviews, knowledge sharing, and capability development across existing and emerging testing practices.
Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with business, technology, and delivery stakeholders. Drive effective communication, facilitate executive reviews, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams operating in Agile delivery environments.
Key Skills & Experience- Proven experience leading large-scale Quality Engineering or Testing engagements for enterprise applications.
- Strong expertise across End-to-End Functional Testing, Test Automation (preferably TOSCA), and working knowledge of AI-enabled testing and Non-Functional Testing (Performance, Security, Reliability, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to engage with clients, lead technical discussions, identify transformation opportunities, and develop Quality Engineering solutions.
- Strong technical depth to guide teams, review solution approaches, and unblock delivery challenges.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent testing workstreams, including planning, governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence technical and business audiences.
- Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional Quality Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience delivering testing services across multiple enterprise platforms/packages (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, Telecom Billing Applications or similar enterprise ecosystems).
Mandatory Skills: Tosca Testsuite - Test Automation.
Experience: 8-10 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
