Job Description

NBCUniversal is looking for a Facilities Information System Manager! In this role, you will manage all aspects for the NBCU Enterprise Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) and related connected Information Systems. The IWMS is a core technology platform for NBCU enabling workforce labor scheduling, space management, move management, inventory, asset management & purchasing functions. You will work closely with business units through the company documenting business processing, mapping system configurations and architect system data repositories to drive reporting for decision making and day to day operations.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Archibus Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), overseeing system configuration, functionality, security, user permissions, and access levels domestically and internationally.
  • Configure, program, test, validate, and deploy system enhancements while ensuring reliable performance across domestic and international locations.
  • Design, map, and maintain system fields, workflows, integrations, and business rules that support Facilities operations and enterprise business processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, system stability, and optimal platform performance through ongoing administration and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the hosted solution provider to define business requirements, prioritize enhancements, coordinate system upgrades, manage customizations, and resolve application issues.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), quality assurance activities, and production deployments for system releases.
  • Evaluate new technologies and functionality that improve Facilities operations and user experience.
  • Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support to maximize adoption and effective utilization of the IWMS.
  • Meet regularly with Facilities staff, business partners, vendors, and stakeholders to gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize the overall user experience.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve Service Level Agreements (SLAs), workflows, and business processes within the IWMS to support consistent service delivery across business units.
  • Partner with Office Services to support space management, occupancy planning, and employee move management.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) and Service Center teams to support work order management, preventive maintenance, asset management, inventory management, and customer service processes.
  • Create, maintain, and govern Facilities standards, policies and best practices
  • Review, create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex technology platforms (such as Archibus, Esri, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to map system fields for interface management
  • Proven analysis skills using Smart Client, excel, and other IT tools to manage the information system user environment.
  • A passion for outstanding data quality and system efficiency

What Would Make You a Stand-out:
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex technology platforms
  • Ability to navigate through complex process requirements to produce efficient system configurations for operations
  • Familiarity with Work Place & Facilities Operations desirable
  • Familiarity with Archibus or other similar Integrated Workplace Management Systems
  • Possesses strong software-agnostic capabilities, enabling effective implementation and support of diverse enterprise systems and technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
