About the Role:
As a CBRE Workplace Experience Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team responsible for delivering exceptional workplace services, including Concierge, Reception, Meeting & Event Management, and administrative office duties. This role focuses on enhancing the employee experience, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining strong client and vendor relationships across multiple corporate offices.

You will drive strategic solutions, optimize processes, and serve as the face of our Phoenix, AZ market for workplace experience, interacting extensively with C-suite executives.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage a team of workplace experience coordinators across multiple sites to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of up to nine direct reports across multiple locations.
  • Oversee relocation and decommission projects from initiation to completion.
  • Provide hands-on site support during peak periods or critical projects.
  • Ensure efficient and high-quality support from the Workplace Experience team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, including C-suite executives, and external partners.
  • Negotiate effectively with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and achieve mutual goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality, managing difficult conversations as needed.
  • Represent Workplace Experience initiatives for the Phoenix market.
  • Develop and nurture vendor partnerships, focusing on cost savings and service optimization.
  • Manage contract negotiations for various business services.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with insurance and contractual documentation.
  • Oversee third-party vendor programs, including food delivery, events, transportation, and mail.
  • Confirm accurate billing and timely invoice processing for all business services.
  • Manage specific vendor engagements for decommissions, relocations, and events.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic solutions for workplace experience challenges.
  • Assess technological and training needs for continuous improvement within Workplace Experience.
  • Actively participate in cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Assist other Workplace Experience Managers as needed.
  • Manage space allocation and tracking programs for facilities.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to established safety standards for all stakeholders.
  • Take initiative in managing space-related responsibilities during downtime.
  • Manage staff training, professional development, and performance evaluations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment and hiring lifecycle for new team members.
  • Coordinate daily team activities, including scheduling, task assignment, and cross-training.
  • Set and track team and departmental deadlines to ensure timely objective completion.
  • Ensure support provided by the team is efficient and consistent.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
