Full Job Description
About the Role

The Workforce Transformation Partner Director is how TalentForge's promise reaches the customer: the trusted advisor in the room who helps senior leaders see what is possible and owns the journey from first conversation to realized outcome.

This is not a sales role in the traditional sense, and it is not a delivery role. You own the customer relationship and the commercial outcome for a book of strategic accounts - but you win by leading with the diagnostic, not the pitch. You sit across from CHROs and transformation leaders, ask the questions that reframe how they think about their workforce, and earn the right to prescribe the motion: a TalentForge Lab to design the future state, then Platform, Studio, or Managed as the outcome dictates. The design and the build happen behind you. Your craft is the relationship, the diagnosis, and the disciplined match of customer need to the right motion.

What You'll Own
  • The relationship and the room. Own a book of strategic customer accounts as their trusted transformation advisor, alongside AEs and CVPs. Build peer-level relationships with CHROs, transformation leaders, and their teams - and be the person they call first when the workforce question is hard.
  • The diagnostic. Lead with inquiry, not product. Run the executive conversations that surface where work is going, where the friction is, and what transformation is worth doing - and frame every engagement around the outcome, never the feature.
  • The book and the commercial outcome. Own the commercial health of your accounts. Your primary measure is the new-and-expansion outcome you originate on your book; Lab conversion is the leading indicator; net revenue retention is the health gate. You carry quota and a revenue target, and you grow the book.
  • Motion discipline. Know when an engagement is a Lab, when it is Platform, when it is Studio, and when it is Managed - and route each account to the motion it is ready for. Resist the pull to turn every engagement into bespoke services: the Lab is the entry, the platform is the destination.
  • The Lab as the front door. Bring customers into the TalentForge Lab to design their future-state workforce, then convert that design into Platform, Studio, or Managed. Lab origination and conversion are how you build pipeline and prove value.
  • Orchestration. Lead the extended pod - workforce-design consultants, domain experts, and shared platform engineering - around a single account strategy you own, without direct authority. You set the direction; they do the design and the build.
  • The voice of the field. Carry customer patterns back into TalentForge so engagements compound into reusable design patterns and platform capability rather than one-off work.

What Success Looks Like in Year One
  • A book of strategic accounts where you are the trusted advisor to senior leadership, with multi-threaded executive relationships.
  • Your blended target delivered: the new-and-expansion outcome on your book met, with Lab conversion running at or above the 50% bar into Platform, Studio, or Managed within two quarters.
  • Net revenue retention held or grown across your accounts.
  • A repeatable Lab-first motion: executives brought into design sessions, outcomes framed and agreed, and the right destination motion prescribed for each account.
  • Field patterns fed back to the practice - your engagements measurably shortening the next ones.

Who You Are
  • The spine is a consultative operator who owns outcomes: someone who leads with the diagnostic, carries a commercial number, and is equally at home reframing a CHRO's strategy and prescribing the right motion. We welcome two backgrounds - consultative enterprise sellers and consultants ready to own a book.
  • A consultative, outcome-led operator. You win by asking the right questions and framing outcomes, not by pitching features. Customers experience you as an advisor, not a rep.
  • Executive presence and relationship capital. You have built peer-level, trusted relationships with senior client leaders - CHROs, transformation leaders, the C-suite - and can hold the room in a strategy conversation about their business.
  • Commercially accountable. You have carried and delivered against a number - bookings, expansion, retention, or P&L - and know how to grow an account without making the customer feel sold to.
  • Workforce and talent domain fluency. Enough depth in workforce strategy, talent, and org transformation to ask the sharp questions and prescribe the right work. You don't have to deliver the design, but you must be credible enough to lead it.
  • Motion discipline. You know when an engagement is a Lab, a Platform play, a Studio build, or a Managed service - and you resist the gravitational pull toward bespoke, custom, hourly work.
  • An orchestrator. You lead cross-functional pods and drive outcomes without direct authority, bringing the right experts to the customer at the right moment.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in enterprise sales, management consulting, or strategic-account / transformation leadership, with a consultative, outcome-led motion (not a feature-led one).
  • Demonstrated track record carrying and delivering against a commercial number - quota, bookings, expansion, retention, or P&L ownership.
  • Proven peer-level relationships with senior client executives (CHRO, C-suite, or transformation leaders) and the executive presence to hold a strategy conversation about their business.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder engagements from first conversation to signed outcome, including originating and qualifying new opportunities.
  • Domain fluency in talent, HR, workforce strategy, or org transformation - enough to ask the sharp questions and prescribe the right work, even if you do not deliver the design yourself.
  • Experience orchestrating cross-functional teams to a customer outcome without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel to customers as engagements require.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
