Full Job Description
The Workforce Design Lead leads the people change agenda for the pod's engagement. This role defines how roles evolve as AI is deployed within the pod's functional scope, owns the workforce transition strategy, and ensures the human side of the transformation lands at the same time as the technology.

You Are:

A strategic leader and trusted advisor with deep Life Sciences expertise. You are a structured problem solver with extensive consulting and industry experience. You communicate clearly and credibly with C-suite executives. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and know how to lead a team while staying close to the work. You have driven business development and built lasting client relationships. You bring energy, resilience, and a genuine passion for building something new.

The Work:
• Lead the people change agenda for the pod's engagement - defining how roles must evolve as AI takes over tasks in the specific functional area
• Own the workforce transition strategy for the pod's functional scope and ensure change lands at the same time as the technology
• Coordinate with the pod's Process Blueprint Lead and AI Innovators on the organizational implications of process and technology design decisions
• Develop communications and stakeholder engagement materials for the pod's functional leadership audience
• Track adoption signals and surface resistance patterns early - before they become delivery risks
• Contribute the pod's workforce insights to the enterprise-level AI Transformation Office

Travel varies by client needs and could be up to 80%

Here's What You Need:

Candidates must have at least 8 years of combined experience in the following:
• Workforce strategy, organizational design, or talent transformation in a consulting or in-industry context
• Demonstrated experience leading change management programs for technology or AI-driven transformation engagements
• Redesigning roles and capabilities in the context of large-scale process and technology change
• Familiarity with Life Sciences functional workforce dynamics and organizational structures
• Strong client-facing communication skills at the VP and functional leadership level

Bonus Points:
• MBA or advanced degree in organizational behavior, HR, or a related discipline
• Certification in change management (Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent)
• Experience designing human + AI role frameworks and capability transition plans in agentic AI environments
• Track record measuring and reporting workforce transformation adoption with quantitative metrics
• Experience across multiple Life Sciences functional areas (commercial, Life Sciences enterprise, manufacturing, or regulatory)
