JOB SUMMARY
We require a highly skilled, hands-on Workday Payroll Expert who has a strong background working at an Implementation Vendor but will act strictly as our internal subject matter expert (SME) and client advocate ("Client Hat"). Your most critical priority is to independently drive Payroll-specific gap analysis, early issue detection, and meticulous verification of vendor configurations. The successful candidate will actively collaborate with internal stakeholders to define needs, clearly communicate them to the vendor, and dive directly into vendor documents, internal rules, legacy systems, and the Workday tenant itself. Your focus will be on proactively identifying discrepancies, issuing actionable correction requests to the vendor, and rigorously confirming that the implemented fixes truly realize our specific business, functional, and operational requirements.
