Position Description: CGI is seeking a detail-oriented Workday Payroll Operations & Support Analyst to support payroll processing, Workday payroll administration, reporting, compliance activities, and operational support within a large enterprise environment. This role will work closely with Payroll, HR, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Technology teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate payroll execution, regulatory compliance, and efficient day-to-day payroll operations.

Your future duties and responsibilities: CGI is seeking a detail-oriented Workday Payroll Operations & Support Analyst to support payroll processing, Workday payroll administration, reporting, compliance activities, and operational support within a large enterprise environment. This role will work closely with Payroll, HR, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Technology teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate payroll execution, regulatory compliance, and efficient day-to-day payroll operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting payroll and time tracking functions in Workday, including payroll cycles, reporting, issue resolution, audit support, and configuration validation. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities include payroll processing support, payroll reporting and data analysis, Workday production support, audit and compliance coordination, and resolving payroll and time-tracking issues while maintaining operational continuity and adherence to internal controls.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years of experience supporting payroll operations, HRIS systems, or Workday Payroll environments
. Hands-on experience supporting Workday Payroll and/or Workday Time Tracking
. Strong understanding of payroll operations, payroll controls, and compliance processes
. Experience producing payroll reports, employee compensation extracts, and audit-related data
. Ability to support payroll processing activities including bi-weekly payroll cycles, off-cycle payrolls, and year-end activities
. Familiarity with payroll tax concepts, multi-state payroll processing, and regulatory requirements
. Experience troubleshooting payroll and time-tracking issues within an HRIS environment
. Strong Excel and payroll data analysis skills
. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
. Experience collaborating with HR, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Technology teams, and external payroll vendors
. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain payroll-related processes clearly
. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, process consistency, and operational controls
. Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, and issue remediation activities preferred
. Exposure to large enterprise or highly regulated environments is highly desirable
Desired Skillset:
. Equivalent professional experience in payroll operations or HRIS support may be considered in lieu of a degree
. Workday Payroll or related HRIS certifications are a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $121,200.00 - $154,300.00.
