Job Description

The Workday Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Workday platform. This includes managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings; monitoring system performance and availability; and troubleshooting technical issues. In this role, you will support the continued optimization of our Workday system and prioritization of our Workday roadmap. This will include the improvement and automation of our Workday platform, identify and review business challenges, define technology solutions, prioritize business requests and translate business requirements into system requirements. This role will report to the Workday Manager and work with a team of Workday Administrators. Will consider remote candidates in the mid-west that would be able to come into the office hybrid often, if they have advanced skills in the benefits module.

The salary range for this role is 100-135K depending on experience. We are unable to sponsor for this role, this includes candidates that currently have their OPT/EAD, becaue you will need sponsorship in the future.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages day-to-day Workday support, encompassing benefits module administration, complex integration troubleshooting, and advanced reporting development, while consistently exceeding agreed service levels.
  • Proactively prepares and executes system enhancements, swiftly resolves technical queries, manages fixes and releases, and ensures impeccable data quality.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, as well as troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Work with Technology team members to ensure that Workday is integrated with other systems and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date on Workday product updates and releases.
  • Implement new Workday features and functionality.
  • Provide training and support to business partners and end users.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on Workday processes and procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Research, analyze, and document findings.
  • Build and monitor Workday alerts and reports.
  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
  • Work closely with business units and responsible for first level assistance in process improvement, problem solving, and report design.
  • Performs other projects and duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • 4-7+ years of Workday experience (required); Workday Pro certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or business field preferred.
  • Workday benefits module advanced experience required.
  • Workday configuration experience with knowledge of business processes, integrations, and reporting, with knowledge in both HCM and Finance implementations required.
  • Must be able to communicate - both verbal and written - for direct consultation with customers at all levels in the organization to define requirements, design solutions, test and implement to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to independently evaluate and provide recommendations and decisions; especially as it relates to areas that impact other Workday functionality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
