Status: Exempt | Monday -Friday 8:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. This position requires you to be on call during some evenings/nights/weekends and holidays.
Hiring Salary: $85,488.00 to $88,774.40 or negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Full Salary Range is: $85,488.00-$121,659.20.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Business Administration or a closely related field. A BSN/RN is preferred.
- 3-5 years of related work experience in health care administration, behavioral health, substance use treatment, public health or closely related field.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Motivational interviewing and de-escalation training (or ability to obtain)
- Must be free of chemical use problems for at least 2 years prior to employment.
- Ability to pass a background check

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe listed examples may not include all the duties performed by all positions in this class.
- Provide administrative leadership for the Withdrawal Management Program.
- Collaborate with the Public Health Director on strategic planning, policy development, and operational initiatives that support the mission and goals of the Public Health Department.
- In collaboration with the Public Health Director, oversees recruitment, hiring, orientation, employee development, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action.
- Fosters a positive workplace culture that emphasizes accountability, teamwork, continuous quality improvement, employee development, and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborates with the RN Supervisor, Medical Director, and clinical leadership to ensure evidence-based practice, safe client care, appropriate admissions and discharges, and compliance with all licensing standards.
- Represents the Withdrawal Management program with hospitals, behavioral health providers, correctional facilities, law enforcement, emergency medical services, treatment providers, community organizations, county departments, state agencies, and regional partners.
- Participates as a member of the Public Health leadership team by attending management meetings, contributing to department-wide strategic planning, quality improvement initiatives, policy development, budget discussions, and organizational decision-making.
- Participates in Public Health emergency preparedness activities, Incident Command System (ICS) functions, continuity of operations planning, and county emergency response activities.
