Senior System Administrator, internally known as Senior Analyst, Information Workplace Services, collaborates with a diverse team to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems. The candidate is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows infrastructure for classified programs. Duties include, but are not limited to, server management (software and hardware); storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; and workstation support.
This position is 100% onsite location in El Segundo, CA.
What You Will Do:
- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment.
- Apply understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
- Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
- Apply understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
- Proactive management of infrastructure to help maintain a healthy environment.
- Experience in administering of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory and group policy.
- Building workstations on bare metal hardware using automation tools such as MDT, WDS or Ghost.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience supporting Window and/or Linux operating systems.
Qualifications We Prefer:- Experience supporting Windows desktops (Windows 10) and Windows server 2016, 2019 installation and maintenance.
- Experience with VMware VSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc).
- Experience with Storage - HP MSA, RAID configuration.
- Experience with Window Servers, Active Directory and Group Policy
- Experience with Network and infrastructure services such as domain controllers, global catalogs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Experience with configuring storage such as NetApp or HP storage.
- Experience with security compliance applications such as Ivanti, Splunk and Tenable.
- Experience with Networking: Network security, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Firewalls.
- Experience with Applications: MS Office & various network Server/Client applications.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
