Salary Range: $95k-$105K (based on experience)

Description:

Join a mission-critical team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) as the Windows Server Lead. In this hands-on leadership role, you will direct technical projects, mentor staff, and ensure the stability, security, and performance of enterprise Windows environments serving a nationally significant mission.

Provide technical leadership and oversight on complex projects, performing in-depth analysis and producing thorough documentation. Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations.

Lead and mentor the team in on-site management and installations. Independently install, operate, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair IT systems, devices, software, and connectivity.

Support project planning and execution, reviewing work products for accuracy, design adherence, and alignment with user requirements and schedules.

Collaborate closely with vendor project managers, technical points of contact, and government stakeholders to ensure effective solutions and high user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical lead for the Windows team: direct technical work, prepare documentation and briefings, lead on-site installations, review work products for quality and schedule alignment, and coordinate with the S2i2 project manager and DLA technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

We are seeking a driven technical leader with deep expertise in enterprise Windows administration. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum seven (7) years of progressive IT experience
• Experience must include at least five projects in technical areas relevant to the Statement of Work, with at least one project completed within the past three (3) years

• Hands-on knowledge and experience in all aspects of Windows Server administration

DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT Level II, Only ONE (1) of the following: CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, GIAC GSEC, GICSP, EC-Council CND, ISC2 SSCP, Cisco CCNA Security) or IAT Level III (ex., ISC2 CISSP or Associate, ISACA CISA, CompTIA CASP+ CE, GIAC GCED, GIAC GCIH, Cisco CCNP Security, ISC2 CCSP)

Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority, only ONE (1) of the following:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Okta Certified Administrator, ISA CCST Level I, CISA ICS Cybersecurity, Infoblox CDCA, GIAC GCWN, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate, Microsoft 365 Messaging Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
