Qualifications

• High School Degree and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6-8 years of experience in application development and architecture.
• Proficient in Windows Server and Windows 7 desktop environments.
• Familiar with Linux and Unix systems, specifically RHEL or AIX, and knowledge of WebSphere.
• Skilled with SQL and Oracle databases, and understanding of Microsoft SSRS and SSIS.

Responsibilities

• Design and create components for application and technical architecture.
• Develop and execute test cases and data for thorough testing.
• Collaborate with programmers, designers, and architects to achieve app requirements and performance goals.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Notify technical architect and project manager of potential issues affecting the project.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects and performance problems identified during testing.
• Document application processes to aid future maintenance.
