Overview:ROLE: Windchill Data Migration ConsultantLOCATION: REMOTERole Overview:This role focuses on leading and executing
data migration initiatives within the Windchill (PLM) environment, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and seamless transition from legacy or non-PLM systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute end-to-end data migration activities in Windchill
- Work on data mapping, transformation, and validation
- Utilize Windchill data migration tools (WBM, site consolidation, utilities)
- Migrate data from non-PLM systems to Windchill
- Develop scripts for automation of migration processes
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with PLM standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Guide and mentor team members during migration activities
Required Skills:- 10+ years of experience in data migration projects (Windchill preferred)
- Strong understanding of PLM domain and Windchill data model/workflows
- Hands-on experience with WBM tool and migration utilities
- Knowledge of CAD data and engineering document management
- Expertise in data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques
- Experience in scripting for automation (Python/Shell/SQL, etc.)
Nice to Have:- Experience in non-PLM to Windchill migration
- Relevant PLM / data management certifications
- Strong leadership and team mentoring experience
