Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they enter the service drive

Full Job Description
Compensation:
  • $70,000 on average with potential to earn up to $115,000 or more based on incentives!

What You'll Do:
  • Act as the face of Walser service by greeting customers as they enter the service drive.
  • Perform vehicle walk-arounds, record mileage and VIN numbers, transport vehicles to technician bays, and write-up repair orders
  • Understand basic automotive repairs, know how long each service will take and how much the repair will cost
  • Serve as the liaison between technicians and customers, while relaying all information to set clear expectations of the visit to the guests
  • Work as a team with your service admin and technicians to generate working hours and provide an excellent experience for your guests
  • Prospect and sell dealership services, coordinate current work in progress, support pre-delivery activities and prepare for after-service delivery
  • Execute proper follow up techniques with customers to build repeat business and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Stage vehicles and shuttle customers as needed
  • Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
  • Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments
  • Utilization of TruVideo/Estimate Tool
  • All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Past experience working with a high level of urgency
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience
  • High level of detail orientation and accuracy
  • Beginner to intermediate level of technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft office (outlook, excel, word), preference may be given to intermediate level skills
  • Proven experience working within a team environment
  • Tekion, Reynolds and Reynolds, or other Dealer Management Systems experience is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
