Job DescriptionThe coordinator will work closely with the Advocacy team to advance policy platform and advocacy goals at the federal, state, and local levels. This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of policy related activities, programs, research, and communications that effectively engage advocates, stakeholders and advance the companies mission and vision.
Primary Duties: - Assist in monitoring, researching, tracking to local, state and federal policy developments and issues
- Assist in drafting communications for public affairs campaigns
- Weekly tracking and reporting of metrics related to campaigns
- Support government affairs and outreach to government officials as directed
- Draft fact sheets and other collateral related to policy and advocacy priorities
- Develop advocacy and policy-related updates relevant to the company that will be shared through newsletter, social media, etc.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, communications, or related field is preffered
Work Experience: Skills and Abilities: - Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for a broader audience.
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills (including both quantitative and qualitative analysis).
- Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively, both orally and in writing, and must be able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Candidate should be eager to learn about the industry and should do well working both independently and as a part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary range of $79,200 to $114,975 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
