Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced WFS Functional Architect to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise Workforce Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Workforce Software (WFS), Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Absence Management, Labor Compliance, and SAP HCM/SuccessFactors integrations.
This role requires a seasoned functional architect who can lead workshops, define scalable workforce management solutions, oversee testing and deployment activities, and work closely with business stakeholders to support workforce transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture - Lead Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap workshops.
- Translate complex labor policies, union rules, scheduling requirements, and absence management processes into scalable system solutions.
- Define workforce management solution architecture and business process design.
- Develop functional specifications and review solution designs.
Workforce Management Configuration Configure and support:

- Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, IDocs, and middleware integrations.
Governance & RICEF Management - Review and approve functional specifications for:

- Conversions
- Enhancements
- Forms
- Ensure adherence to governance and design standards.
Testing & Deployment - Lead System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support data migration activities
- Manage deployment readiness assessments
- Coordinate cutover and go-live support
Stakeholder Management - Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders
- Resolve complex workforce management challenges
- Mentor junior consultants and project team members
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership

Required Experience: - 12+ years of Workforce Management or SAP HCM experience

- Experience with Time & Labor, Scheduling, and Labor Compliance solutions
Preferred Qualifications: - Workforce Software (WFS) experience
- SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking Certification
- Workforce Software Certifications
- Public Sector, Healthcare, or Unionized Workforce experience
