Job Description

We are seeking a driven Quality professional to support operations across the Western Region. This role is responsible for reducing Cost of Poor Quality, ensuring compliance with applicable certifications and customer specifications, and strengthening operational execution through standardized processes and procedures. Reporting to the Regional Quality Manager and aligned within Operations, this position works closely with site leadership and production teams to embed quality into daily execution. The ideal candidate will actively partner with operations and customers to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role with direct impact to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability. This role places a strong emphasis on training and workforce development to ensure sustainable execution, long-term adoption of improvements, and consistent quality performance across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with operations to lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
  • Drive reduction of COPQ through daily operational engagement
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry standards
  • Interface directly with customers on quality issues, expectations, and performance
  • Support and lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits
  • Identify audit findings and nonconformances, drive corrective actions, and verify effective implementation to closure within operations
  • Lead the development and delivery of hands-on training programs to ensure effective execution of quality processes and long-term sustainability of improvements across operations
  • Drive consistency in training, competency, and execution across all Western Region facilities to support standardization and long-term operational success
  • Drive standardization of quality processes and best practices across all Western Region facilities in alignment with operations
  • Partner with operations to improve processes and ensure sustainable execution of corrective actions
  • Track, report, and communicate quality metrics to support operational decision-making

Qualifications:
  • Experience in quality and/or NDT within OCTG, downhole tools, or specialty oilfield services
  • Strong understanding of NDT methods (EMI, UT, MT, PT, VT) and applicable industry standards
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and API standards (API 5CT, API Q1/Q2)
  • Ability to interpret and apply customer specifications in inspection and service environments
  • Knowledge of quality systems, including root cause analysis and CAPA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple sites
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with operations, leadership, and customers
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on field engagement

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Quality, or related discipline) preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in quality and/or NDT within OCTG, downhole tools, or specialty oilfield services
