About the Role

The Well-Being Senior Manager – Project Management, Programming, & Operations is an integral part of Latham’s Well-Being & Benefits team. This role will be responsible for using their experience and understanding of both the legal and well-being industries to contribute to the overall strategies, goals, and objectives of the department, and to represent the well-being program at senior levels. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence, with a minimum of three (3) days a week in-office. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing multi-pronged global initiatives (both long-term and short-term) around ergonomics, physical activity, and other health programming
  • Managing complex projects end-to-end, from initial strategy through implementation and post-program analysis, including issue-spotting and developing relevant internal processes and procedures
  • Writing and editing a wide variety of written communications
  • Developing engagement and promotion strategies for both attorneys and professional services staff around their health and well-being
  • Managing and developing teams, including direct reports as well as hundreds of volunteer team leaders and ergonomics specialists
  • Managing external vendors
  • Developing and customizing (in conjunction with relevant experts) health-related programming and trainings
  • Delivering stand-up presentations and trainings
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience may be considered
  • Experience in the legal or corporate well-being fields
