Expected Job Duties:- Provide welding engineering support to design, fabrication, and support teams
- Specify, develop, implement, and sustain welding and welding-related processes
- Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of welding processes in accordance with strategic objectives
- Apply problem solving skills to identify root cause
- Evaluate new equipment and processes
- Interpret results and provide recommendations to management
This job might be for you if you are a US Citizen and if: - You have a B.S. in Welding Engineering or related technical field
- You are knowledgeable in welding metallurgy and GTAW and GMAW processes
- You have strong problem-solving skills and can effectively manage projects
- You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

- You enjoy working in a team environment
You may be a stronger fit for this position if: - You have experience developing and supporting welding processes in a manufacturing environment
- You have extensive experience working in accordance with standards/specifications, especially military or aerospace specifications
- You have a working knowledge of NDT processes
- You have hands-on experience with welding and fabrication processes
Physical Requirements - Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
- Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours
- Vision correctable to 20/30 or better

Pay Range Information:Associate Welding Process Engineer: $84,200 - $124,500.
Welding Process Engineer: $97,700 - $144,400.
Lead Welding Process Engineer: $115,300 - $170,400
We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
