Welding Engineer - Technical Sales Representative

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will conduct detailed on siteassessments of customer fabrication processes, welding procedures, consumableusage, and workflow efficiency Identify productivity improvements throughoptimized gases, consumables, welding parameters, automation readiness, andprocess standardization
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations, performanceevaluations, and competitive comparisons
  • Further, you will analyze market trends, competitoractivity, and customer needs to support territory strategy
  • Develop value basedproposals that quantify cost savings, throughput gains, and qualityimprovements
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to alignsolutions with customer requirements
  • And you will support additional technical andcommercial initiatives as needed Lead the full sales cycle for automatedcapital equipment including robotics, welding automation, CNC automation, andmaterial handling systems
  • Perform on site evaluations to identify productionbottlenecks and automation opportunities
  • Create ROI models, cost benefitanalyses, and productivity improvement justifications for capital investments
  • You will provide system walk throughs, automation demonstrations, and technicalevaluations
  • Work with engineering teams to design system configurations,layouts, and integration plansnt customers and secure long-term relationships through straightforward agreements


What makes you great

  • You have an associate degree in welding technology or similar; Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
  • More than seven (7+) years of outside sales experience, ideally in welding, fabrication, or industrial equipment
  • Strong technical understanding of welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW), shielding gases, consumables, and fabrication workflows
  • Prior industry experience is required
  • Welding Inspector or Welding Educator certification preferred
  • You have proven negotiation and value selling skills
  • High integrity and a strong commitment to safety

Pay Range: $108,225 - $128,730 yearly based on experience
