Few moments carry greater meaning than a wedding celebration or milestone event. As Wedding & Event Sales Manager, you will help couples, families, and organizations bring those experiences to life at Nemacolin through exceptional service, thoughtful planning, and strong relationship management. Balancing event sales, business development, and operational coordination, you will guide events from inquiry through execution while cultivating new opportunities and strengthening client partnerships. Your leadership, creativity, and attention to detail help drive revenue, support team success, and create memorable experiences that keep guests returning to celebrate life's most important occasions.

This position is 100% onsite and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

Compensation: Base salary of $90,000 - $110,000, based on experience and qualifications, plus participation in an uncapped Sales Incentive Plan.

  • Meaningful celebrations and memorable events by guiding weddings, social events, and special functions from initial inquiry through planning, coordination, and execution

  • A well-coordinated event experience by partnering with food and beverage, hotel operations, transportation, marketing, and other resort teams to align details and deliver on client expectations
  • A high-performing sales operation by maintaining accurate client records, managing contracts and deposits, tracking activity, and ensuring timely follow-through on all event details
  • Strategic business insight by evaluating guest feedback, market trends, demographic information, and program performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, marketing, event management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in hospitality sales, event sales, wedding sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Previous leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, training, developing, or supervising associates preferred
  • Experience within a luxury hospitality, resort, hotel, or event environment preferred
  • Demonstrated success in sales, client relationship management, business development, or event planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and interpret business-related information
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based operational needs
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting or carrying up to 30 pounds
