Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (version 8.5.5 and 9 ND edition) and its components.
• Experience with WebSphere Liberty; familiarity with WebSphere MORE is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities in installations, disaster recovery, and security configurations.
• Proficiency in UNIX, Shell scripting, and Python/Jython for automation tasks.
• Experience with Ansible, CI/CD (GitLab), and a preference for AWS and Terraform knowledge.
• Familiarity with MQ, file transfer systems, and database connectivity (Oracle/SQL).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration support for critical applications using IBM WebSphere.
• Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Identify automation opportunities in collaboration with development, operations, and security teams.
• Document automation processes, procedures, and best practices for internal use.
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in automated systems promptly.
• Continuously enhance existing automation frameworks for better scalability and maintainability.
