Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (VA/DC/MD) - Onsite/Hybrid per program requirements. Candidates must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the DC metro area prior to start.
Salary: $105,000-$170,000 - Commensurate with experience
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications and portals supporting mission users.
- Develop front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) and back-end services/APIs.
- Ensure applications meet accessibility (Section 508), usability, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend engineers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Support integration with government data sources and authentication systems.
Requirements- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful API integration and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience supporting missions for DoW, DHS, FBI, or another national security agency.
- Willingness to work onsite in the DC metro area as required.
Preferred Skills- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, .NET, or Java).
- Experience with content management systems and government web platforms.
Education and Work Experience3-15 years of relevant experience, with placement (Mid, Senior, or Lead) commensurate with demonstrated experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
