Qualifications

• Mid to senior level SQL web and application tier administration experience with tools like IIS, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, or JBOSS.
• Basic system administration skills in Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Possession of Security+ or equivalent IA certification, along with computing environment certification (e.g., MCSA - SQL Server).
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective collaboration.
• Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with automating routine administrative tasks preferred.
• Understanding of various technologies including network, storage, server, and applications.
• Proficiency in automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages like PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert to evaluate and develop customer application architecture for Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical objectives into detailed requirements.
• Build and deploy infrastructure for customer web and application systems in the cloud.
• Sustain customer web and application systems, ensuring installation, configuration, updates, and security hardening.
• Work with customer developers on project releases and code deployments.
• Provide troubleshooting support for any reported issues.
• Identify and plan for potential new cloud services and capabilities.
• Recommend improvements for security, scalability, and performance across various technologies.
