Location: Parsippany, NJ
Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 + performance incentives
What you'll be doing
• Drive business development initiatives and expand the firm's advisor and client network.
• Recruit and build relationships with successful financial advisors, producing managers, and advisory teams.
• Develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients.
• Leverage existing industry relationships to generate revenue and create long-term growth opportunities.
• Identify strategic opportunities across target markets and advisor channels.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver customized wealth management solutions.
• Represent the firm at industry events, networking functions, and business development meetings.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and firm requirements.
What you'll need
• Proven business development success within wealth management, broker-dealer, RIA, or financial services environments.
• Experience working with wirehouse advisors, producing managers, or advisor recruiting initiatives.
• Strong understanding of wealth management, investment products, advisory services, and financial planning.
• Experience with custodial platforms, advisor networks, and advisor transition processes.
• Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through new business development.
• Existing professional network within the financial advisory industry.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred
• Portable book of business or transferable advisor relationships.
• Experience with independent wealth management firms or broker-dealers.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63/66 licenses (or ability to obtain if required).
