JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to add a Senior Associate / Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Growth to Wealth Management Managed Investments. Managed Investments is responsible for the management and/or implementation of nearly $1 trillion in assets across various advisory programs, including Chase Wealth Management and the Private Bank.

As Managed Investments continues to scale and evolve, there is a growing need to strengthen how we coordinate strategic priorities, drive innovation, and deliver new capabilities that improve advisor and client outcomes. This role will sit at the center of several of the organization's most important initiatives, serving as a key partner to senior leadership in advancing the Office of Portfolio Construction (OPC), driving cross-functional execution, and shaping the future growth strategy of the business.

The individual in this role will work closely with Managed Investments leadership, Product, Technology, Investments, Platform, and Distribution teams to ensure strategic initiatives are prioritized, coordinated, and delivered effectively. In addition, this individual will help establish the processes, insights, and strategic frameworks needed to drive business growth, improve transparency into performance, identify market opportunities, and accelerate innovation.

Job Summary

As a Senior Associate / Vice President within Managed Investments, you will play a pivotal role in advancing both the strategic execution and growth agenda of the business.

You will serve as a key member of the Office of Portfolio Construction, helping coordinate and drive complex cross-functional initiatives spanning Investments, Product, Technology, Quant and Platform teams. You will act as the connective tissue across multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and execution against leadership priorities.

In addition, you will help drive commercial strategy initiatives by developing executive dashboards and reporting frameworks, leading strategic planning efforts, conducting industry and competitive research, and identifying opportunities to enhance our investment offering through innovation, partnerships, and new capabilities.

Success in this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong organizational leadership, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across a matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

Office of Portfolio Construction (OPC)

  • Serve as a core member of the Office of Portfolio Construction, helping drive strategic priorities across Investments, Product, Technology, Platform, Quant and Distribution teams.
  • Act as the central coordinator across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and accountability against committed business objectives.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to define, prioritize, and deliver strategic capabilities that enhance portfolio construction and managed investment solutions.
  • Develop and maintain initiative roadmaps, dependencies, milestones, and progress reporting.
  • Lead governance processes, steering committees, and decision-making forums to facilitate execution and remove obstacles.
  • Prepare executive updates, strategic recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operating efficiency, simplify processes, and strengthen organizational effectiveness.

Commercial Growth & Business Strategy

  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide transparency into business performance, advisor adoption, asset growth, and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct industry, competitive, and market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats across wealth management, asset management, fintech, and advisor technology.
  • Partner with internal teams and external firms to evaluate emerging capabilities, solutions, and partnership opportunities.
  • Help drive long-term strategic planning efforts and identify opportunities to expand the capabilities and reach of Managed Investments.

Leadership & Communication

  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive requests, including strategic analysis, presentation development, and business case creation.
  • Translate complex topics into concise and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Foster strong partnerships across business, product, investment, and technology teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Create structure, clarity, and transparency around complex initiatives and organizational priorities.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities

  • 4+ years of experience in wealth management, asset management, financial services, strategy, consulting, business management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience working with Product and Technology teams to define and deliver business capabilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect business objectives to execution plans.
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations, dashboards, management reporting, and strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate key insights to senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio construction, managed account programs, or wealth management platforms preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for innovation, industry trends, and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across a highly matrixed organization.
