Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Experience designing pump stations, pipelines, and water/wastewater treatment facilities
• Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and sense of urgency
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities effectively
• Potential and desire to lead a practice, manage clients, and coordinate a team

Responsibilities

• Design water transmission and distribution systems and treatment facilities
• Manage project tasks, design, permitting, and construction coordination
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external clients on projects
• Ensure quality control by reviewing plans and checking staff work
• Create work plans aligning with client budgets and project management
• Attend and participate in meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall progress
