This role will support project engineering and management, and the development of water and potable reuse projects throughout Arizona, the Southwest and across the country. You will be a part of the Hazen Water and Reuse practice groups engaging, collaborating, and supporting water and reuse projects, and opportunities across the country as needed
Key Responsibilities:- Your role will include, project engineering/management, design, planning, operational support with a focus on water treatment / reuse and drinking water projects
- Supporting proposal development.
- Mentor junior drinking water staff.
- Coordination and collaboration with clients.
- Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.
- Supporting projects to meet client expectations, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Following internal Hazen processes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects for clients.
- Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments on small to medium projects.
- Performing planning, studies, design, and support of projects through design, construction, and operation.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering
- PE license
- 5-12 years of experience in municipal water treatment, water quality, water treatment technology, or manufacturing
- Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
- Proficient in all MS Office based computer software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Self-starter with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people
Preferred Qualifications:- Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering
