Position DescriptionThis impactful position will play a critical role in improving the utility's information management and reporting processes for our water treatment control systems. This job is primarily focused on:
- Supporting and training operations staff and others in the use of our existing reporting system and enhancing the system through the development of reports, dashboards, and other metrics;
- Reviewing current business practices and offering technical solutions to create efficiencies and improve workflows; and
- Supporting a variety of other software systems such as meter reading, laboratory equipment and control system technologies.
The formal title for this job code is Business Applications Analyst II as listed in the MPEA salary schedule.Work LocationThis position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work with some days working remotely and some days working in the office.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer relation skills and the ability to act as liaison between technical and non-technical staff.
• Knowledge of the City and the Department operations and procedures (where assigned).

Required QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelors Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or equivalent.
Minimum ExperienceThree (3) years experience performing related duties.
