Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and support the Agricultural Ingredients business in Turlock, California. You will serve as the primary supervisor for warehouse activities as well as primary administrative responsibilities on a given shift. This position is the highest acting authority on site during off hours. Primary area of focus is to ensure schedules are met while maintaining product quality levels and a safe working environment.

What you'll do:
  • Lead daily warehouse operations by assigning workloads, optimizing staffing and equipment utilization, and managing labor costs, including overtime, to meet production goals.
  • Foster a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety policies, promoting safe operation of forklifts and warehouse equipment, and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with Production, Plant, Safety, and Quality leadership to improve operational efficiency, maintain product quality, and ensure production meets established specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational performance, identifying process enhancements, and encouraging employee participation in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, receiving transactions, and warehouse organization to maintain efficient material flow, inventory integrity, and clean, organized storage areas.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership by communicating expectations, developing team members, and supporting the implementation and enforcement of facility policies and procedures.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, and forklift safety.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across production, quality, safety, and operations teams.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
